Presidents Milanović and Pahor Talk ahead of Brdo-Brijuni Process
The President of the Republic of Croatia Zoran Milanović and the President of the Republic of Slovenia Borut Pahor held a working meeting in Ljubljana this evening as co-chairs of the Brdo-Brijuni Process Summit. Presidents Milanović and Pahor discussed the topics on the agenda of tomorrow’s meeting in Brdo Castle near Kranj, Slovenia.
Participating in the Brdo-Brijuni Process will be the President of the Republic of Albania Bajram Begaj, the members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željko Komšić, Milorad Dodik and Šefik Džaferović, the President of Montenegro Milo Đukanović, the President of the Republic of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani, the President of the Republic of North Macedonia Stevo Pendarovski, and the President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vučić.
Brdo-Brijuni Process Summits have been taking place for a number of years at the initiative of Croatia and Slovenia as European Union member states with the aim of advancing cooperation of South East Europe countries and stepping up the European integration of the countries of the region. Some of these countries are negotiating membership in the European Union and others have candidate status.
Alongside President Milanović at the meeting with Slovenian President Pahor were the Head of the Office of the President of the Republic Orsat Miljenić and the Adviser to the President for Foreign and European Policy Neven Pelicarić.
