President of the Republic Receives Representatives of Association of Disabled People Križevci and “Hedona Ltd. Chocolaterie”

The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović received a delegation of the Association of Disabled People Križevci and the Social Enterprise “Hedona Ltd. Chocolaterie”, whose majority employees are people with disabilities.

Representatives of the Association acquainted President Milanović with their activities that span twenty years, aimed at actively participating in the social and individual care of people with disabilities. Seven years ago they founded a social enterprise employing people with disabilities, the “Hedona Ltd. Chocolaterie”, winner in June of this year of the Council of Europe Development Bank’s award for social cohesion in an innovative and effective way.

President Milanović praised the successful work of the Association of Disabled People Križevci in promoting social inclusion of people with disabilities through their integration in the labour market, and congratulated the representatives of “Hedona Ltd. Chocolaterie” for winning the prestigious award of the Council of Europe Development Bank.

Attending the meeting with the President of the Republic were: the President of the Association of Disabled People Križevci Petar Gatarić, the Executive Director of the Association Bruno Butigan, the Director of “Hedona Ltd. Chocolaterie” Križevci Alemka Lončar and the Production Manager Sunčica Starinec Skelin as well as employees of the Chocolaterie  Zdravka Hlubuček, Miljenko Drožđan, Ivana Štriga, Martina Pavlinec and Josip Pejčić.
