President of Albania Bajram Begaj Arrives Thursday on Two-Day State Visit to Croatia
The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović on Thursday will meet with the President of the Republic of Albania Bajram Begaj, who is arriving on a two-day State Visit to the Republic of Croatia. In the Office of the President of the Republic, Presidents Milanović and Begaj will discuss relations between the two friendly and allied states, Croatia and Albania, as well as the situation in South East Europe and Albania’s European path after that state officially began negotiations on membership in the European Union.
On Friday, the two Presidents will visit Zadar where they will meet with the President of Zadar City Council Marko Vučetić, the President of the Local Council of Arbanasi Zvonimir Rogić and with representatives of the Albanian national minority. During their stay in Zadar, Presidents Milanović and Begaj will visit the Our Lady of Loretto Church – Arbanasi and the Monastery of the Franciscan School Sisters, where a cultural programme will be featured.
In the scope of his State visit to the Republic of Croatia, the President of Albania will be received by the Speaker of the Croatian Parliament and the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia. President Begaj will lay a wreath in front of the Monument to the Homeland in Zagreb.
