President Milanović Visits Exhibition of Paintings by Oton Iveković at Klovićevi Dvori Gallery
The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović visited today a retrospective exhibition of painter Oton Iveković at the Klovićevi Dvori Gallery in Zagreb.
Under the expert guidance of exhibition curator Petra Vugrinec, President Milanović viewed more than 230 works of one of the leading artists of Croatian modernity, within which Oton Iveković stood out as the most prolific and prominent author of historical painting.
“Oton Iveković – a retrospective exhibition” will run until 11 June at the Klovićevi Dvori Gallery in Zagreb. It was set up in light of the numerous successes of modern painting in Croatia and earlier exhibitions on Vlaho Bukovac, Mato Celestin Medović and Menci Clement Crnčić.
The Director of the Klovićevi Dvori Gallery Antonio Picukarić, curator Danijela Markotić and Special Adviser to the President of the Republic for Culture Zdravko Zima accompanied President Milanović at his tour of the exhibition.
