President Milanović Tours Exhibited Croatian Army Equipment and Weapons on Croatian Armed Forces Day
The President of the Republic and Commander in Chief of the Croatian Armed Forces Zoran Milanović attended events marking Croatian Armed Forces Day – Croatian Army Day and the 32nd anniversary of the formation of the Croatian Army at the Sports & Recreational Centre Jarun.
President Milanović viewed the weapons and equipment of the Croatian Army and the Ministry of the Interior that were exhibited at Jarun as well as the exhibit of the Ministry of Croatian Veterans’ Affairs. He also viewed the demonstration exercises of the Croatian Army and the Ministry of the Interior as well as the flying maneuvres of the Croatian Air Force and Air Defense’s “Wings of Storm” aerobatic display team.
Earlier in the day the Adviser to the President for Defense Ivica Olujić, as the President’s delegate, laid a wreath and lit a candle at Mirogoj cemetery in memory of all the fallen, missing and deceased Croatian defenders.
