President Milanović Receives Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo Albin Kurti
The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović received today the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo Albin Kurti who is on an official visit to the Republic of Croatia.
At the meeting in the Office of the President of the Republic, they confirmed the excellent relations between the two friendly countries, Croatia and Kosovo. On this occasion, as on many previous occasions, President Milanović reiterated that all conditions for statehood and the full international recognition of Kosovo have been met, and that Kosovo should especially be recognized by all members of the European Union that have not yet done so. He also confirmed that Kosovo has the full and firm support of Croatia on its path towards membership in all international associations. Furthermore, President Milanović believes that the normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia is also necessary because this would mean greater stability in South-East Europe, which is also in the Croatian national interest.
The delegation of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo at the meeting in the Office of the President of the Republic included Internal Affairs Minister Xhelal Svecla, the Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Commerce Rozeta Hajdari, the Minister of Finance, Labour and Transfers Hekuran Murati, the Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo to the Republic of Croatia Martin Berishaj and the Legal Adviser to the Prime Minister Tea Blakaj.
Alongside President Milanović were the Ambassador of the Republic of Croatia to the Republic of Kosovo Danijela Barišić, the Head of the Cabinet of the President of the Republic Bartol Šimunić, the Adviser to the President of the Republic for Foreign and European Policy Neven Pelicarić and the Special Adviser to the President of the Republic for the Economy Velibor Mačkić.
