The President of the Republic of Croatia Zoran Milanović today received Zrinka Ujević, the new Head of the European Commission Representation in Croatia, for her inaugural visit.

Zrinka Ujević was appointed as the new Head of the European Commission Representation in Croatia in late January 2024. She assumed her duties on 1 April as the third Head of the Representation and the first woman to hold this post since Croatia became a full member of the European Union in 2013. The European Commission Representations are active in all EU Member States, including Croatia, where they engage with national authorities and stakeholders and regularly inform the media and the public about EU policies.

Ms. Ujević attended the meeting alongside Andrea Čović Vidović, Deputy Head of the European Commission Representation in Croatia, and Hristo Hristov, Head of the Political Sector at the European Commission Representation in Croatia.

President Milanović was accompanied by Neven Pelicarić, Adviser to the President of the Republic for Foreign and European Policy, and Ivan Mutavdžić, Secretary of the Cabinet for Foreign and European Policy at the Office of the President of the Republic.
