President Milanović Receives Delegation of Veterans’ Association of Producers Panonija
The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović received today a delegation of the Veterans’ Association of Producers Panonija, which brings together veterans and their family members whose production is officially registered, in order to facilitate joint entry into the market with original products.
At the meeting, the representatives of the Association informed President Milanović of their plans, activities and achieved results. The Association, which was established in 2013 in Vukovar-Srijem County, seeks to preserve Homeland War values while promoting tradition, culture and traditional crafts, with an emphasis on the development and advancement of agritourism and Croatia’s tourist offering. The Association has for years organized the fair events “Domaće je domaće” [Local is local], “Zeleno i plavo” [Green and blue] and “Dani Slavonije” [Days of Slavonia] throughout Croatia.
In October, they organized two events, first in Poreč, where the “Domaće je domaće” event was held on 9-14 October, and which was followed by the “Zeleno i plavo” event in Rovinj on 16-21 October. A month earlier, the Association organized the 10th edition of the “Dani Slavonije” event in Rijeka.
Association President Pavao Baotić, member Marijan Delić and the Director of the Županja Tourist Board Kruno Šarić were members of the delegation of the Veterans’ Association of Producers Panonija.
President Milanović was accompanied by the Special Adviser to the President of the Republic for the Economy Velibor Mačkić and Special Adviser to the President of the Republic for Homeland War Veterans Marijan Mareković.
