President Milanović Receives Delegation from the Alliance of Anti-Fascist Associations of Istria County
The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović received today at the Office of the President a delegation from the Alliance of Anti-Fascist Associations of Istria County, on the occasion of the upcoming commemoration of the 80th anniversary of liberation and victory over fascism.
Ada Damjanac, President of the Alliance, presented President Milanović with the programme for the 80th anniversary celebration, which will take place on 9 May in Pazin, Istria County. During the meeting, they also discussed the significance of this anniversary and the importance of preserving the anti-fascist tradition. The Alliance of Anti-Fascist Associations of Istria County is a non-governmental, non-partisan organization that brings together citizens committed to promoting the anti-fascist legacy, defending human rights and freedoms, and preserving historical truth.
Alongside Alliance President Damjanac, the meeting was attended by Alliance members Milan Antolović, Boris Siljan, Edi Serbus, Edo Jerman, Radovan Krota, Gracijela Milevoj, Branko Oplanić, Zlatko Benažić, Rino Černac, Edi Andreašić, Mitar Gavočanov, and Romano Božac.
President Milanović was accompanied by Melita Mulić, Adviser to the President of the Republic for Human Rights and Civil Society.
