President Milanović Promotes Three Brigadier Generals to Major Generals of the Croatian Army
Based on the constitutional and legal powers vested in him, the President of the Republic and Commander in Chief of the Croatian Armed Forces Zoran Milanović has issued Decisions on the promotion of three Brigadier Generals to Major Generals, as well as Decisions on the promotion of a Colonel to Brigadier General, and a Lieutenant Colonel to Colonel.
The Commander of the Croatian Air Force, Brigadier General Michael Križanec, was promoted to the rank of Major General of the Air Force. The Deputy Commander of the Dr. Franjo Tuđman Croatian Defence Academy, Brigadier General Blaž Beretin, was promoted to the rank of Major General of the Infantry. The Head of the Planning Directorate of the Croatian Armed Forces General Staff, Brigadier General Gordana Garašić, was promoted to the rank of Major General of the Legal Profession.
The Head of the Croatian Armed Forces General Staff Logistics Directorate, Colonel Jozo Matković, was promoted to the rank of Brigadier General of the Quartermaster Service.
The Head of the Support Command Transport Service Department, Lieutenant Colonel Mihael Pintarić, was promoted to the rank of Colonel of the Transport Service.
