President Milanović Presents Charter of the Republic of Croatia to Gymnast Tin Srbić and Order of the Croatian Interlace to his Coach

The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović presented gymnast Tin Srbić with the Charter of the Republic of Croatia and his coach Lucijan Krce with the Order of the Croatian Interlace.

Tin Srbić received the Charter of the Republic of Croatia for exceptional sporting success and for winning a medal at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, as well as for the promotion of sports and the standing of the Republic of Croatia. Coach Lucijan Krce was awarded for his exceptional contribution to the sporting successes of Croatian athletes at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games and for the promotion of sports and the international standing of the Republic of Croatia. President Milanović presented them with the awards today at a meeting in the Office of the President that was also attended by the President of the Croatian Gymnastics Federation Marijo Možnik.

In addition to the Olympic silver medal from Tokyo, Croatian gymnast Tin Srbić won a number of medals in the past years at World and European Gymnastics Championships, as well as World Cups. Srbić’s last medal, a silver one, which he won recently at the World Championships in Antwerp, allowed him to compete in next year’s Olympic Games in Paris. Tin Srbić won a total of three medals (one gold and two silver medals) at the World Gymnastics Championships and also three medals (one gold and two silver medals) at the European Championships.

President Milanović was accompanied by the Commissioner of the President of the Republic for Sports Željko Jovanović.
