President Milanović Participating in Meeting of EU Heads of State in Krakow
The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović is participating in the 19th meeting of the Heads of State of the Arraiolos Group, which commenced this evening in Krakow with a working dinner organized by the President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda, the host of this year’s meeting. The dinner took place in the Wieliczka Salt Mine, one of Poland’s most famous cultural and historical sites.
The Arraiolos Group brings together Heads of State of European Union member countries without executive powers, who meet once a year to discuss key topics of interest to the European Union. The main focus of this year’s meeting will be on transatlantic relations in the context of global challenges and threats.
In addition to the President of Poland Andrzej Duda and President Milanović, the Presidents of Bulgaria, Estonia, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Hungary, Germany, Slovakia and Slovenia are also participating in the meeting.
