President Milanović Meets with Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia Robert Golob

The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović met today with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Slovenia Robert Golob, who is on an official visit to the Republic of Croatia.

Excellent relations between the two neighbouring, friendly and allied countries were confirmed at the meeting, along with the mutual desire to further develop cooperation between Croatia and Slovenia in all areas. President Milanović and Prime Minister Golob exchanged views on the state of affairs in Southeast Europe, since stability in that region is very important for both Croatia and Slovenia, and agreed on the need to accelerate the Southeast European countries’ integration into Europe. They also discussed at the meeting the processes within the European Union, of which both countries are members, as well as the security situation in Europe following Russia’s aggression against Ukraine.
