President Milanović Meets with Academy for Public Policy Students from the Republic of North Macedonia
The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović held a meeting today with the students of the Academy for Public Policy from the Republic of North Macedonia who are participating in a study visit in the Republic of Croatia, which was organized by the Academy for Political Development from Zagreb.
The main topic of discussion was the European perspective of the countries of Southeast Europe, with special emphasis placed on the process of North Macedonia’s accession to the European Union as a full member. President Milanović emphasized during the discussion that he strongly supports the accession of North Macedonia to the European Union and, as has been the case so far, that the country will have Croatia’s continuous support on its path to full membership.
Attending the meeting with President Milanović together with the students enrolled in the Academy for Public Policy from the Republic of North Macedonia were the Executive Director of the Academy for Political Development Ivana Novoselec, Programme Director in FRP for the Academy for Public Policy activity that is part of a larger project “Support to Electoral Reforms”, supported by Swiss Government and implemented by IFES Gordan Georgiev, IFES Project Officer Arben Ajrulai and member of the Steering Committee of the Academy for Political Development Arijana Lekić Fridrich.
Special Adviser to the President of the Republic for the Economy Velibor Mačkić was alongside President Milanović.
