President Milanović Extends Greetings on Kurban Bajram

The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović extended greetings to Croatian citizens of Islamic faith on the occasion of Kurban Bajram. It reads as follows:

“The celebration of Kurban Bajram is always an occasion to show care and love for one’s neighbour as well as get closer to people and foster understanding. The Islamic community in Croatia is an example of how cooperation and mutual respect enhance the culture of dialogue and contribute to the general welfare of society in which we all live.

With the wish that cooperation and mutual respect is and remains a model, may all Islamic believers celebrate Kurban Bajram with their families and dear ones in an atmosphere of joy, love and respect, which are so needed today in these times of numerous challenges and unrest.
