President Milanović Attends Drago Diklić Concert Marking Musical Career that Spans 70 Years
The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović attended a concert of renowned Croatian composer and musician Drago Diklić, which marked 70 years of his rich and long musical career. The concert entitled “Još samo večeras” (Just Tonight), named after one of his most famous songs, was held in Zagreb’s Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall.
Drago Diklić is a musician, singer, composer, conductor and director of several orchestras, owner of the first private record and music production. He is the initiator and organizer of a number of musical events: for twelve years he was the director of the Zagreb Festival, he initiated and organized the first New Year’s Eve party on Ban Jelačić Square, he launched a number of entertainment clubs and spent 20 years as president of the Croatian Bridge Association.
With this concert, Drago Diklić once again showed that his place at the top of the Croatian music scene is deserved, and his charm and wit do not fade with age.
Alongside President Milanović was the Special Adviser to the President for Culture Zdravko Zima.
