President Milanović Attends “Cvjetna Jaska” Flower Fair in Jastrebarsko

The President of the Republic of Croatia Zoran Milanović visited the “Cvjetna Jaska” event today, held at the central square in Jastrebarsko. The traditional flower fair is organized by the Jastrebarsko Cultural Center, with support from the Town of Jastrebarsko, the town’s Tourist Board, and the Hram agency.

“Cvjetna Jaska” brought together around 40 exhibitors, including nine major producers. In addition to a wide selection of seasonal flowers, greenery, perennials, and vegetable seedlings, visitors could enjoy a variety of workshops, fashion shows, concerts, and other entertainment. The event programme features a fashion show by the cultural and artistic association Okićka Trešnja, a concert by Gospodari Tambura, a performance by ballerinas from the Jastrebarsko Ballet Studio, and a series of workshops and activities for all generations.

During his visit to Jastrebarsko, President Milanović met with representatives of local veterans’ associations at the Town Hall. The meeting was attended by retired Major Ignac Horvatić, Commander of the 61st Independent Battalion of the Croatian National Guard; Ivan Batušić and Zoran Grdiša from the Association of Croatian Volunteer Veterans of the Homeland War – Jastrebarsko Branch; Dražen Kos and Dražen Kurtalj from the Croatian Disabled Homeland War Veterans’ Association (HVIDRA); Berislav Gregorić and Marko Lukić from the Jastrebarsko Veterans’ Police Association; Marijan Kurtalj from the Association of Members of the 61st Battalion of the Croatian National Guard and the 140th Croatian Army Brigade – Jastrebarsko; and retired Second Lieutenant of the Croatian Army, Davorin Kopić.
