President Milanović at Premiere of Rajko Grlić’s Latest Film “Svemu dođe kraj”

The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović attended the gala premiere of Rajko Grlić’s latest film, “Svemu dođe kraj” (“It All Ends Here”), held at the Kaptol Boutique Cinema in Zagreb.

The new film by renowned Croatian director and screenwriter Rajko Grlić is a crime drama with elements of a thriller, inspired by the novel “Na rubu pameti” (“On the Edge of Reason”) by Miroslav Krleža, co-adapted by Grlić and Croatian writer Ante Tomić. The film stars Živko Anočić, Jelena Đokić, Boris Isaković, Janko Popović Volarić, Emir Hadžihafizbegović, Ksenija Marinković, Marina Redžepović, Srđan Grahovac, Anjela Nedyalkova, and Katarina Bistrović Darvaš.

The film “Svemu dođe kraj” (“It All Ends Here”) premiered this year at the Pula Film Festival, where it won two Golden Arenas, one for scenography (Željka Burić) and one for best supporting actor (Boris Isaković). Having won over the audience in Pula, the film was also shown at the Sarajevo Film Festival, attracting attention and winning over the audience with its bold portrayal of social issues. In addition to Pula and Sarajevo, the film was also screened at the Herceg Novi Film Festival, where actress Jelena Đokić won the Golden Mimosa for best actress.

Many members of the film crew, led by the director and the cast, attended the premiere. Zdravko Zima, the President’s Special Adviser for Culture, accompanied President Milanović.
