President Milanović at opening of new data centre in Varaždin: World order is changing, it’s important to adapt
“The world order is changing before our very eyes, it’s important to adapt to the new reality, while the new order is taking form. We are part of it, and our influence is small. It will be better for us to be aware of that world and of our scope in major projects and to concentrate on such projects that are small from the point of view of the world and Europe, but are big and profitable for us because they have an impact on the quality of life and the wealth of the nation. Let’s leave the big stories to the great ones in the hope that they understand something and will do something good”. We should focus on ourselves and our affairs because there is no reason for us not to be successful”, the President of the Republic Zoran Milanović stated at the opening ceremony of the new DC NORTH Data Centre in Varaždin.
President Milanović also underlined that the opening of the Data Centre is a “big deal”, not just for the project’s participants, but for the community as a whole. “This is a result of a structured dream, ambition and desire for success. From a business point of view, this is an excellent thing because the city and the residents alike will benefit from it. There will be money, advantages and profits. In today’s world we cannot live without this kind of service. This Data Centre is a matter of national security. Congratulations to all of you on this great success!”, the President of the Republic told the gathering.
