President of the Republic Receives Delegation of the Croatian Generals Association
The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović received in his Office a delegation of the Croatian Generals Association (HGZ). The Representatives of the Croatian Generals Association informed President Milanović about the goals of their group. The role of the Croatian Army in the Homeland War and the future development of the Croatian Armed Forces were discussed at the meeting. The representatives of the Croatian Generals Association expressed their readiness to contribute, using their knowledge and experience, to the further development of the defense sector in the Republic of Croatia.
The following were members of the Croatian Generals Association delegation: Retired General and Chief of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces, Chair of HGZ Pavao Miljavac; Retired General and Chief of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces, Vice-Chair of HGZ Josip Lucić; Retired Major General and Vice-Chair of HGZ Ljubo Ćesić; Retired Major General and Secretary General of HGZ Marinko Krešić; Retired Lieutenant General and member of the HGZ Governing Board Krešimir Ćosić; Retired Lieutenant General and member of the HGZ Governing Board Mladen Kruljac; Retired Major General and member of the HGZ Governing Board Josip Štimac; Retired Major General and member of the HGZ Governing Board Josip Stojković; Retired Major General and member of the HGZ Governing Board Miljenko Galić; Retired Brigadier General and member of the HGZ Governing Board Kornelije Brkić; Retired Major General and Chief Police Inspector, member of the HGZ Governing Board Marko Lukić.
