Office of the President Presents Proof: Memo sent to Interior Ministry Border Administration
In order to remove any doubt, we are publicizing proof that the Office of the President of the Republic notified the Interior Ministry of the Republic of Croatia in a proper and timely manner about the arrival of the President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik in Croatia: an e-mail sent by the Protocol of the Office of the President to the Border Administration of the Interior Ministry on 24 July, the day before Mr. Dodik’s planned working visit. From the above-mentioned e-mail, it can unequivocally be seen that the Office of the President also provided the Interior Ministry with a memo it received from Mr. Dodik’s Cabinet containing all the necessary information. Likewise, the Office of the President asked the Interior Ministry to conduct a border check, which it did.
At the same time, we publicly bring this proof to the attention of Prime Minister Andrej Plenković, knowing that he has a tendency to pretend to be uninformed and that he is used to arbitrarily deciding what is and what isn’t an issue, depending on his and HDZ’s interest. He is, in fact, used to manipulating. In the same way, identifying and sanctioning those responsible for the gas scandal is still not an issue for him. He said that yesterday, thinking that by going away to the shade of Villa Costabella the gas scandal would also go away. It won’t. It will be waiting for him.
As for Mr. Dodik’s helicopter flight to Hvar and the procedure of arranging and approving the flight, that procedure, according to law, is under the exclusive jurisdiction of Croatian Air Traffic Control. The Office of the President was not and could not have been involved in approving and organizing that flight in any way.
