It Is Important to Continue the Dialogue of Representatives of All Three Peoples in Bosnia and Herzegovina
The President of the Republic of Croatia Zoran Milanović met today with Milorad Dodik, the member of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s Presidency from the Republic of Srpska, who arrived in Zagreb on the invitation of President Milanović.
They discussed the situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and its Euro-Atlantic prospects, the problems in implementing the Dayton Peace Agreement, and the status and rights of all three constituent peoples – Croats, Serbs and Bosniaks. A stable and functioning Bosnia and Herzegovina is in the interest of the Republic of Croatia as it is to ensure equal rights for Croats in Bosnia and Herzegovina as an equal and constituent people. That is why the Republic of Croatia cannot remain passive and it will not support initiatives that tend towards a unilateral revision of the Dayton Peace Agreement that would jeopardize peace and stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina and South East Europe. In order to achieve a stable and functioning Bosnia and Herzegovina, it is important to continue the dialogue of representatives of all three peoples in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the Republic of Croatia, as a friendly and neighbouring country, is prepared to make its contribution.
