Greetings from President Milanović on the Occasion of Ramadan Bayram

The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović sent the following greetings to Croatian citizens of the Islamic faith celebrating Ramadan Bayram:

“After a month of fasting and humility displaying the strength of faith, our fellow citizens of the Islamic faith are celebrating Ramadan Bayram. Heartfelt congratulations on this great holiday of sacrifice and renunciation and may it bring you joyful and peaceful moments of religious and family togetherness.

All people long for mutual respect in the family and community in which they live, and the best way to achieve it is with a friendly conversation and an exchange of views. Only in this way is it possible to build a tolerant and solidary society in which we will understand each other and develop mutual relations for the well-being of our common Homeland.
