Following Decisions by President Milanović, there are Four New Brigadier Generals in the Croatian Armed Forces and New Deputy Commanders in the Croatian Army and Croatian Air Force
Based on the constitutional and legal powers vested in him, the President of the Republic and Commander in Chief of the Croatian Armed Forces Zoran Milanović has made decisions regarding the promotions of four active-duty colonels to the ranks of brigadier generals, and decisions regarding assignments to new positions in the Croatian Armed Forces.
Colonel Valentin Skroza has been promoted to the rank of Brigadier General of armour, Colonel Ivica Kranjčević has been promoted to the rank of Brigadier General of artillery, and Colonel Davor Tretinjak and Colonel Marinko Galović have been promoted to the rank of Brigadier General of aviation. With these promotion decisions, the Croatian Armed Forces have gained four new brigadier generals.
Furthermore, the President of the Republic and Commander in Chief of the Croatian Armed Forces has also made decisions regarding assignments to new positions within the Croatian Armed Forces. The new Brigadier General Valentin Skroza has been assigned to the position of Deputy Commander of the Croatian Army, while Colonel Željko Ninić has been appointed as the Deputy Commander of the Croatian Air Force. The decisions regarding assignments to new positions take effect on 15 February, 2024.
