11:00 - The President of the Republic will participate in a special session of the Međimurje County Assembly on the occasion of the observance of County Day (Development and Educational Centre for the Metal Industry – Metal Centre Čakovec, Bana Josipa Jelačića 22D). 17:00 - The President of the Republic will participate in the commemorative event “Lipa pamti 2024” [The Linden Remembers 2024]. Alongside his delegation, the President will pay tribute to victims from the local community by laying a wreath and lighting a candle (Lipa 35). The President of the Republic will deliver an address.

11:30 - The President of the Republic and Commander in Chief of the Croatian Armed Forces will lay a wreath at the Memorial to the fallen Croatian defenders in the Homeland War (Dr. Franjo Tuđman Square)

12:15 - The President of the Republic and Commander in Chief of the Croatian Armed Forces will attend a formal session commemorating the 33rd anniversary of the formation of the 3rd Guards Brigade “Kune” [Martens] (Cultural Centre, Matije Antuna Relkovića 11)

14:50 - The President of the Republic and Commander in Chief of the Croatian Armed Forces will attend the observance of the 33rd anniversary of the formation of the 4th Guards Brigade “Pauci” [Spiders], and a swearing-in ceremony and awarding of berets to members of the 3rd Mechanized Battalion “Pauci” (plateau at the “Holy Cross” Memorial Chapel, the former “Sveti Križ” Dračevac Barracks, Ulica Bilice II.)

NOTE: In order to cover the arrival of the jets and the ceremony programme at the “Pukovnik Marko Živković” Barracks, media representatives must arrive at Pleso on Thursday, 25 April 2024 no later than 11 o’clock, using the entrance from the old terminal of Zagreb International Airport, i.e. from the Rudolf Perešin Technical School in Velika Gorica via Rudolf Fizir Street (western entrance to the barracks). Parking for journalists is available at the Technical School.

We kindly request that media representatives covering the event at the barracks use rain suits or raincoats for protection from the forecasted rain and wind. Due to safety regulations, umbrellas, hats, scarves, or any other items that could potentially fly away and endanger flight safety are not advisable on the airport apron.

11:00 - The Head of the Office of the President of the Republic Orsat Miljenić will participate in the commemoration of the Remembrance Day of the Victims of the Jasenovac concentration camp as the envoy of the President of the Republic, Zoran Milanović. Alongside his delegation, he will honour all the victims by laying flowers (“Stone Flower” monument).
