President of the Republic on Official Visit to the Federal Republic of Germany
At the invitation of the President of the Federal Republic of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier, the President of the Republic of Croatia Zoran Milanović will pay an official visit to the Federal Republic of Germany on 10 and 11 September 2020.
On the first day of his stay in Berlin on Thursday, 10 September, the President of the Republic is scheduled to meet with representatives of Croatian associations in the Federal Republic of Germany.
On Friday, 11 September, President Milanović will hold a meeting with his host, the President of the Federal Republic of Germany Frank-Walter Steinmeier. The meeting of the two Presidents will begin with a welcoming ceremony for President Milanović, with military honours, at Bellevue Castle, the official residence of the President of Germany. After a tête-à-tête of the two Presidents and a bilateral meeting of the delegations of the Republic of Croatia and the Federal Republic of Germany, press statements by President Milanović and President Steinmeier are planned. On the same day, the President of the Republic of Croatia will meet with the President of the Bundestag, Dr. Wolfgang Schäuble.
During his stay in Berlin, President Milanović will also speak with the President of the German Association for Small and Medium-Sized Businesses (BVMW) Mario Ohoven and attend the signing of the Statements of Cooperation by the BVMW and representatives of the Croatian Employers’ Association and the Club of Exporters.
