The President of the Republic of Croatia Zoran Milanović will meet on Tuesday at the Office of the President with the President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda, who is paying an official visit to Croatia accompanied by his spouse, Agata Kornhauser-Duda.

The two Presidents will discuss bilateral relations between Croatia and Poland, the security situation in Europe and globally, energy security, and regional stability. As members of both the European Union and NATO, Croatia and Poland enjoy strong bilateral relations with no outstanding issues. Poland supported Croatia’s entry into the Schengen Area and is now also backing its bid for OECD membership. Defense cooperation has been reinforced through Croatia’s participation in NATO’s Forward Land Forces stationed in Poland, where the 15th Croatian contingent is currently deployed.

During his official visit, President Duda will also meet in Zagreb with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia and the Speaker of the Croatian Parliament.
