President Milanović Receives Delegation of Municipality of Mače and all Other Associations Operating in the Municipality

The President of the Republic, Zoran Milanović, received a delegation today from the Municipality of Mače, which included representatives of the local government, led by the Head of the Municipality, Mladenka Mikulec Šimunec, and the presidents and members of all nine associations operating in the Municipality. Mrs. Mikulec Šimunec acquainted President Milanović with the activities and investments in the Municipality of Mače, whose representatives, as she emphasized, are visiting the Head of State for the first time since the establishment of the Municipality. She stressed the importance of associations that contribute to the quality of life of all residents of the Municipality of Mače through their cultural, sports and social commitment.

Attending the meeting in addition to Mladenka Mikulec Šimunec, the Head of the Municipality, were the president of the Municipal Council and at the same time president of the Volunteer Fire Department of Mače Mladen Sedak-Benčić; the Head of the Single administrative department of the Municipality of Mače Ljiljana Trčak; the president of the Mace Football Club “Gaj” Mače Dragutin Šćapec; the president of the “Fazan” Hunting Club Darko Bosak; the secretary of the “Gaj” Chess Club Stjepan Špoljar; the president of the “Gaj” Association of Beekeepers of Mače Radovan Herceg; the treasurer of the “Naša djeca” society of Mače Mirjana Habuš; the president of the majorettes of Mače Alina Ivona Habuš; members of the Cultural and Artistic Society “Ljudevit Gaj” of Mače Lovro Stužić, Ivona Benčić and Sara Zebec; and members of the Female Vocal Group “Kajda” Diana Bezak, Ana Čehulić, Marina Marković, Martina Čehulić, Iva Culi, Martina Turčin, Nikolina Vrlec and Željkica Markoci.

Alongside President Milanović was the Adviser to the President for Human Rights and Civil Society Melita Mulić.
