President Milanović Meets with “CroBizDel” Members

The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović met today with the members of the “CroBiz Delegation“, an initiative of Croatian businesspeople whose goal is to strengthen economic relations between the Republic of Croatian and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

During the meeting, the organizers of the “CroBizDel“, Aco Momčilović, Željko Hanžek and Zoran Šegić, acquainted President Milanović with their initiative and business plans. Their goal, they said, is to connect Croatian companies with potential partners in Saudi Arabia, encourage the export of Croatian products and services, and promote innovation and technological development. The initiative is particularly focused on the sectors of technology, artificial intelligence, innovation, and infrastructure development.

The representatives of the “CroBizDel“ have already visited Saudi Arabia and their next step is to organize a business summit in Croatia as soon as this year, since Saudi businesspeople have already indicated an interest in cooperating with Croatian companies and investing in Croatia. Though their initial focus is on Saudi Arabia, they plan to expand their initiative to other Gulf countries.

Alongside President Milanović was the Special Adviser to the President for the Economy Velibor Mačkić.
