President Milanović Visits “Bela nedeja” Fair in Kastav 

The President of the Republic of Croatia Zoran Milanović attended today a fair in Kastav “Bela nedeja“, of which he is patron.

Accompanied by the hosts, the mayor of the town of Kastav Matej Mostarac, deputy mayor Dean Jurčić, the president of the Municipal Council of Kastav Mirela Smojever and the director of the Tourist Board of Kastav Saša Brusić, President Milanović toured the fair exhibitors and the museum featuring the “Kastavština“ collection.

The “Bela nedeja“ event is a centuries-old tradition in the Kastav area, which is held on the first Sunday of October to honour the beginning of autumn and the young wines, with an offer of traditional products and crafts, as well as accompanying cultural and entertainment programmes.

Alongside the President of the Republic was the Special Adviser to the President for the Economy Velibor Mačkić.
