Report from the General Staff of the CAF: The President of the Republic used the military helicopter a total of 74 times and the military ship 8 times in the period FROM February 2020 TO August 2024.
The Office of the President of the Republic received on Sunday, 1 September, a report from the Chief of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces Lieutenant General Tihomir Kundid specifying the flights of Croatian Air Force helicopters and voyages of the Croatian Navy boats for the needs of the President of the Republic and Commander in Chief of the Croatian Armed Forces Zoran Milanović in the period from February 2020 to August 2024.
The Chief of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces compiled the report at the request of the President of the Republic who had previously, by his decision, declassified orders for flights of Croatian Air Force helicopters and transportation by Croatian Navy boats.
The report of the Chief of the GS of the CAF noted that the President of the Republic and Commander in Chief of the Croatian Armed Forces used Croatian Air Force helicopters a total of 74 times, and Croatian Navy boats eight times in the period from February 2020 to August 2024. The total cost of fuel was 127,000 euros for helicopters flights and 22,800 euros for transportation by Croatian Navy boats.
Instead of manipulations and the publication of unverified and entirely inaccurate information on the use of military helicopters and boats, the Office of the President of the Republic has published the Report of the Chief of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces, a Review on Croatian Air Force helicopter flights related to the activities of the President of the Republic and a Review of the Engagement of Croatian Navy Boats in support of the activities of the President of the Republic together with related costs.
