President Milanović Receives Croatian-Macedonian Society Delegation

The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović received today the representatives of the Croatian-Macedonian Society from Zagreb, on the occasion of marking 30 years of the Society’s continuous work. The President of the Croatian-Macedonian Society Judita Rey Hudeček introduced President Milanović to the activities of the society, particularly known for its 15-member women’s vocal group “Ezerki.” The vocal group, therefore, presented itself in the Office of the President with a short cultural and artistic programme.

The women’s vocal group “Ezerki” was established in 1995 with a view to preserving and popularizing traditional Macedonian songs. To date, it has held over 300 performances on various stages in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Macedonia and Italy. Also attending the meeting with President Milanović, in addition to the Society President, were Vice President Branka Kvesić Batinica, Secretary Lena Đapić, and members Tajana Gluhak, Zdenka Lesjak, Kate Marunović, Darka Kragović, Ljiljana Prevolšek, Ana Kolega, Katica Adamović, Jelena Matančević, Renata Petreski Kotaranin and Krunoslava Kuljiš.

Adviser to the President of the Republic for Human Rights and Civil Society Melita Mulić was alongside President Milanović.
