Spouse of the President of the Republic Sanja Musić Milanović Meets Female Members of the Croatian American Society in Louisiana

The spouse of the President of the Republic Prof. Sanja Musić Milanović, Ph. D., who accompanied President Zoran Milanović during his working visit to the United States, held a meeting in Woodland, near New Orleans, with female members of the Croatian American Society from Louisiana and with members of the Club of Women of Dalmatian Descent.

During the talks, Mrs. Musić Milanović said she was impressed by the activities of these associations, which stood out for their humanitarian work and assistance provided to Croatia when the country needed it most. She particularly praised the Club’s activities in the permanent promotion of Croatia, which includes organizing presentations on Croatian history and culture, and Croatian language teaching.

At the meeting, the spouse of the President became convinced of the devotion of the members of the Croatian community from Louisiana to Croatia, the homeland of their ancestors. The meeting participants agreed that the Croatian community in the United States is an important bridge that connects the two countries.
