President Milanović at Modular Homes Expo: It’s good that we have a lot of Croatian manufacturers of prefabricated homes

The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović attended today’s opening of the fair “Modular Homes Expo” showcasing prefabricated and modular homes at Arena Zagreb.

President Milanović said he supported the holding of the fair and expressed satisfaction that Croatian manufacturers are predominantly represented at the fair. “That means it is an industry that exists. I can’t say that it is just starting to develop, because the company “DIP Delnice” has built houses before, and it was not bad at all,” said President Milanović, wishing the exhibitors much success.

The Deputy Mayor of Zagreb Luka Korlaet and State Secretary in the Ministry of Physical Planning, Construction and State Assets Željko Uhlir also spoke at the fair opening ceremony apart from President Milanović.

After the opening ceremony, President Milanović toured the fair which gathered – for the first time in Europe – the leading manufacturers of prefabricated and modular homes, facilitating networking, exchange of ideas and the presentation of the latest products to potential buyers and prefabricated home enthusiasts.

President Milanović was accompanied by the Special Adviser to the President of the Republic for the Economy Velibor Mačkić.
