President Milanović Receives Recipients of Croatian Managers’ & Entrepreneurs’ Association Annual Award

The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović received today the leadership of the Croatian Managers’ & Entrepreneurs’ Association (CROMA) and the recipients of the “Manager of the Year 2022” award. At the meeting, President Milanović was introduced to the laureates, who were presented with the awards at a ceremony held in February this year under the auspices of the President of the Republic.

The meeting between President Milanović and the leadership of the Croatian Managers’ & Entrepreneurs’ Association (CROMA), as well as the managers and entrepreneurs who were awarded, was also an occasion used to discuss important economic topics. The business environment in Croatia was among the discussion topics, with the managers and entrepreneurs emphasizing the need to reform the tax system and the need to achieve greater efficiency and productivity. Also discussed at the meeting was the issue of inflation, which leads to falling consumption, and the global business environment in which Croatian entrepreneurs operate.

Apart from the representatives of the Croatian Managers’ & Entrepreneurs’ Association (CROMA) – Chief Manager Danijela Milić and Executive Committee members Jasminka Horvat Martinović, Petar Šimić and Igor Benaković – the following laureates of the “Manager of the Year 2022” award attended the meeting with President Milanović: Ms. Ines Premužak, spouse of the laureate of the Lifetime Achievement Award, which was posthumously awarded to the former President of the Croatian Managers’ & Entrepreneurs’ Association Tihomir Premužak; laureate of the Large Business Award Sergio Galošić; laureate of the Entrepreneur of the Year Award Ivan Križanec; laureate of the Foreign Business Award Robert Mustač; laureate of the Medium-Sized Business Award Ivanka Mabić Gagić; laureate of the Micro Business Award Marko List; laureate of the Project Manager Award Adam Đanić; laureate of the Young Manager Award Ivan Artuković; laureate of the “Tihomir Premužak” Positive Social Influence Award Ana Soldo.

President Milanović was accompanied at the meeting by the Special Adviser to the President of the Republic for the Economy Velibor Mačkić and Assistant Adviser to the President of the Republic for the Economy Martina Ciglević.
