President Milanović comments match in Qatar: This was superb work

“We hope to reach the finals, but even if we don’t, we still made it to the second round. This was not luck, this was superb work”, the President of the Republic Zoran Milanović commented after the match between Croatia and Belgium in which the Croatian National Football Team made it to the Round of 16 after a 0-0 tie at the World Cup Qatar 2022.

The President added “Belgium is a strong team, but Croatia has great players like Gvardiol who is amazing, and the rest are excellent”. President Milanović concluded that the Croatian National Team for which he rooted in the company of his wife Sanja Musić Milanović “was brave and excellent”.
