President Milanović Meets with Members of Pensioners’ Association of Stari Mikanovci

The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović met today with members of the Pensioners’ Association “Jelka Cindrić” from the Municipality of Stari Mikanovci, as well as representatives of the Municipality.

The pensioners’ association from the Municipality of Stari Mikanovci was established in 1999 and today it has 237 members. Members of the association informed President Milanović of their activities, which include providing assistance to the elderly and feeble, organizing social events, health rehabilitation, recreation, various educational projects and, as they put it, everything that will make life for seniors easier and more beautiful.

The Head of the Municipality of Stari Mikanovci Mario Milinković, “Stjepan Cvrković” Stari Mikanovci Elementary School principal Đuro Škrget and Stari Mikanovci St. Claire parish priest Rev. Ivan Bešlić were with the members of the pensioners’ association.

Adviser to the President of the Republic for Human Rights and Civil Society Melita Mulić was alongside President Milanović.
