Formal Presentation of Rank of Admiral to Robert Hranj, Chief of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces

The President of the Republic and Commander in Chief of the Croatian Armed Forces Zoran MIlanović presented the rank of Admiral to Robert Hranj, Chief of the General Staff, during a ceremony.

The ceremony which was held in the Office of the President of the Republic was also attended by the wife of Admiral Hranj, Mirjana Hranj, and by the Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Damir Krstičević, the Deputy Chief of the General Staff Lieutenant General Drago Matanović, the Commander of the Croatian Army Major General Siniša Jurković, the Commander of the Croatian Navy Rear Admiral Ivo Raffanelli, the Commander of the Croatian Air Forces Brigadier General Michael Križanec, the Chief Defense Inspector Major General Slaven Zdilar and many other guests from the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces and the Ministry of Defense.

The Chief of the General Staff of the Croatian Armed Forces Robert Hranj was promoted to the rank of Admiral last week by a Decision of President Zoran Milanović, on the proposal of the Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Damir Krstičević.
