President Milanović Meets with YPO Association Members that Assembles Leading World Entrepreneurs and Businesspeople
The President of the Republic Zoran Milanović met today with members of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), association that assembles leading world entrepreneurs and businesspeople, who are meeting in Zagreb for the “YPO Electric Hypercar Experience Event“.
At the meeting with President Milanović were about forty members of this global leadership community and extraordinary chief executives from the following countries: Belgium, Czech Republic, Japan, Lithuania, Hungary, Mexico, Netherlands, Germany, Albania, Romania, USA, Slovenia, Serbia, Türkiye, UAE and Croatia. In replying to their questions, President Milanović talked about the economic and political situation in Croatia, the role of European Funds in the Croatian economy, the upcoming introduction of the euro in Croatia, relations in the region, i.e. Croatian neighbourhood, and a number of other topics that were of interest to the meeting participants. Members of the YPO were presented the catalogue of investment opportunities in the Republic of Croatia.
The YPO was founded in 1950 in Rochester, New York and has more than 30,000 members in 142 countries. All members have achieved significant leadership success at a young age. They lead businesses and organizations contributing USD 9 trillion in annual revenue. The Europe region of the YPO has 3,500 chief executives across 84 chapters including the YPO Adriatic founded in 2019 in Zagreb and has 29 members.
Before the meeting with the President of the Republic, the YPO members attended the “YPO Electric Hypercar Experience Event“ at which they were given a close insight into the electric super car and hyper car industry. The moderator of the meeting with President Milanović was the Special Adviser to the President of the Republic for the Economy Velibor Mačkić, and the association was introduced by the Founder and Director of Insaka Saša Cvetojević and one of the founders of YPO Adriatic.
